教學理念
As a mathematics educator, I am deeply passionate about the art of problem-solving. In my view, mathematics education is not merely about memorising formulas or procedures; it's about constructing a robust framework that aids students in understanding complex concepts, applying theories effectively, and analysing problems with clarity and precision. I firmly believe that this framework is best developed through consistent practice and thoughtful engagement with mathematical ideas. A good maths teacher is someone who can explain concepts and knowledge with clarity, but a great maths teacher transcends this.
A great teacher provides students with the right tasks and just enough guidance to gradually reinforce their mathematical framework. This approach fosters a deeper understanding, leading to that pivotal moment when everything clicks into place. That's the moment a student truly becomes a mathematician, capable of independent thought and innovative problem-solving. This transformation, from learner to thinker, is the essence of my teaching philosophy.
